Jewish culture always changes. Hanukkah, originally a celebration of national independence at the time of the Winter Solstice, later became a religious holiday. Hanukkah was once a minor event and is now one of the most observed Jewish rituals. Everyone added their ideas. If you designed your own menorah to reflect the holiday, what would it be?  Parents invited to join.
